My name is Lori Fisher-Martin. My Dad is Robert "Gabby" Fisher. I found this web site through my neighbor Carol Beth Arnold Olsen, also a member of the Class of 1951. What a wonderful site. My Dad is so proud to be a BOBCAT . . . I have enjoyed all his high school stories throughout my life.

Visited your great site after a heads-up from classmate Dick Snavely. Wife Diane (class of '55) and I shared a lot of smiles as we tripped down memory lane; thanks to your effort. Congratulations!! This is the stuff that bonds friends, in a feeling of family.

My name is Rachel Kromm and I am Mary Mae Bourke Kromm's granddaughter. My dad told me about your site so I decided to visit it and see about my grandma's school and her classmates. My grandma was a wonderful woman who lived her life one day at a time. Unfortunately, she passed away a year ago . . . but even then she still lives on in our hearts and in our memories. Congratulations on such a wonderful and informative site! God Bless you always and forever!

Greetings from Cache Creek, British Columbia. Congratulations on your Class of 1951 site . . . very well done.  Dyke Anderson and I were married for 25 years.

I wish it could be under better circumstances that I came across your web page.  I was reading articles about the devastating fire that destroyed the Weatherwax building, and came across a link to your page. Thank you for providing a site where we can read about the past, and remember all the history surrounding our great ALMA MATER.

Thought I had sent you a note of how great the Bobcat site is.  Was going through it tonight and did not see my note.  Wonderful job, hope all our class mates visit often.

My name is Derek Cook, I have taught at AHS for 10 years, and am now the Dean of Students. I was fortunate enough to give some of you a tour of our high school during the time you were celebrating your 50-year reunion this past August 24 and 25. In listening to you all share various memories of your days at Weatherwax, I wanted to learn more about your class. Your  website is excellent, a fun way to relive some of those good days that you were nice enough to share with me. Best Wishes to the Class of '51! Please come back and visit us soon.

Edrie and Tom Harrington, my sister and brother-in-law told me about the Bobcat web site. Brought back a few memories - I even recognized some names and faces, even though they are much older than the class of 55. Particularly enjoyed the Bobcat growl! Nice job with all the info. Have a good reunion.

Hi, I am the daughter of one of your Lake Quinault Derelicts, Chuck (Black Enforcer) Ragus. While visiting my dad this weekend we got to talking about school because I'm on the planning committee for my 20 year class reunion. He showed me the Bobcat website and I was very impressed. It's been fun reading about your class and my daddy (Black Enforcer "ha ha") in particular. Great job, thanks so much.

Great Web Pages, fun to read what everyone has been doing for the last (cough, cough) years. We are planning our next reunion 2002, at the Log House in Aberdeen. --Susan Pettit, AHS, 1957      tedebare@whidbey.net

I just finished reading some of the comments and the History of Weatherwax High. I must say, you've done a 1st class job. We have a website for the class of '57 that contains 105 classmates online along with birthdays and a list of deceased classmates.
     Love your Bobcat sound affects.

I revisited your site to read the visitors comments. I am sorry that more of the members of "42 " have not visited your site. You have a lot of dedicated people to thank for the quality and contents of it. Keep up the good work! If any of you know of more of we older alumni please get them to enjoy walking down memory lane!

What a great idea your site is! I graduated in 52 but I was surprised how many friends I had from 51. Thanks.

What a great history of the class of '51. I was sorry to miss the luncheon in June, I was in Europe at the time. I am looking forward to the class reunion next year, I cannot believe 50 years have gone by since we graduated from Weatherwax.

A friend (Margot Greenwell Barnes, HHS, '53 + Bro. Warren Greenwell) had heard about the BOBCAT '51 site, but hadn't been able to find it. So, it gave me an opportunity to revisit.  A great nostalgia fix.  It's well-organized and laden with TLC. Judging from the "comments", the site is attracting hits and notoriety from more than the Class of '51.  Not surprising, I suppose, during that era, many of us were born and lived most of our lives on the Harbor, so our friendships spanned several class years. Clearly, we all value its availability for a cyber-trip HOME. The Quinault Derelicts is a super touch.  Over the years I've run into many from Aberdeen, ie:, while in Viet Nam, in Switzerland, in S.F., at Lake Tahoe, in Palm Springs, snowbirds in Yuma, etc. Your efforts and expertise are appreciated by all of us BOBCATS!!
--Don Scoralle, AHS, 1953     donscoralle@ifn.net

I truly enjoyed your website.  My brother, Warren Spangler, was in your class and is now aware of this website.  It will bring much pleasure to everyone who visits. Fantastic!!!!!

What a step back in time - memories of school and a lot of people I know. My sister-in-law, Patty Ayres, told me about the site and it rates 5 stars. Loved comments from Uncle Dick (Solberg), Aunt Doris (Solberg Kerr) and my friends and classmates, Kay and Denny Rowley.

I was so glad to learn about the class website.  It's absolutely terrific!  I will need to go back again and peruse it all a little at a time - it's rather an overwhelming lot of information that has already answered several questions I had.
--Marjorie Zink Bushnell, AHS, 1951

June 18, 2000
What a great experience to be able to go back in time and recall memories I had with my fellow class mates!  I appreciate the efforts necessary to make this web site available.  It has provided me a means to contact some old school chums.  Please add my e-mail address to the "list."

Hi - This is Diane Stokes from South Kitsap Class of '51.  I enjoyed the Bobcat web site and the copy of your last reunion book that Ken Johnson let us look at. They have given us some good ideas for our special book next year. I will pass along these ideas to our committee. Thanks!

Loved to come to the Harbor and play in the Football Jamboree.  Printed some pages of the Bobcat site for Edrie Lundgren Harrington.  My wife and I square dance with Edrie and Tom.  Congrats on the web site. We are trying to get one together for our class.

     From: "Reunions Unlimited"
Have spent 1/2 hour viewing your class website and must say it is the nicest class site I've seen (runs close in quality with Stadium '49, Tacoma, which was also very nice). Great Job!  We see many each year and this one is far superior to the majority.

I just want you to know how much I enjoyed, and how many memories came alive when I browsed the Class of 1951 web page.  My sister, Marian Heiser Wardlow, was a member of your class but, as the little sister, we had a lot of those classmates in and around our house. Thank you so much for the memories.

I really enjoyed reading the comments from guests and former AHS graduates!!  We just got our computer about a month ago and I am still learning.  I used one in school when I worked at AHS but this is different.  This is really neat!!  Looking forward to seeing everyone at the luncheon on June 8th.

Just got the class of 1951 web site from Fred McHargue, good for you its terrific. Almost makes me wish I hadn't graduated in '50.  Sorry I didn't make the Cosi reunion this year.  Fred said there were about 50 people in attendance.  Take care and God Bless.

Hi You All!  Excellent job on Weatherwax 1951 web page. Reading about "The Lake Quinault Derelict Club" brought back many fine memories of most of that bunch in our home during the late 40's early 50's.
I enjoyed reading how you are all successful, but I knew that would be true.
My parents, Anna and Ole Olson (High School store,) enjoyed each and every one of you in their life.
I hope to see all of you again in the future.

Thanks for a great job.  What a fun time going down memory lane.  The roar is great . . . the music during the history was in sinc.  I'm sure we all appreciate the site.  Please feel free to use my e-mail address.  I'd love to hear from the 'old' gang.

Hi:  I'm from the class of 1950, don't know if you remember me. Shirley Trew?  I married George Howard, class of 1948.  He played football all the years he attended Aberdeen junior and senior high school.  We are having our reunion this year, seems impossible, but !!! guess it is true!  I remember a lot of you from class of '51 too.  One of your classmates of '51 is Frank Parker, and our very close friend all these years.      So anyone who wishes to e-mail me, I would love to hear from anyone. Shirley and George.

Just visited your site. Good job!  I would love to link to your page. In fact, I noticed several other web sites listed in the comments and thought it would be great to link to any and all alumni pages that are out there for AHS.

I am Joel Wasti from class of 1954.  Don Chapman (Don Woodland) is just putting the finishing touches to AHS54.com  and we should be live this week or next.
Looking through your site brought back memories. So many names I can
recall.
--Joel Wasti, AHS 1954     oneprice@gte.net

March 27, 2000
Wow!  Great site!  We (AHS Class of '54) have put together a site, as well.
Not "we", really, as Don (Woody) Woodland has been the one that did 99.99% of
the work, and it has been a monumental task.  Joel Wasti and I have attempted
to help with feedback, contacts, etc.
I see that you have a "free" (?) web site, and that of course is something we need to research as the cost of keeping a site up and going could be a potential snag in the future.

Thanks for the great presentation of our class. Unfortunately, Sharyn Thompson Wallin and I can't make a June reunion date, because we're meeting in Paris. We and our spouses are renting an apartment near the Pompicou and Picasso museums, and look forward to two weeks of art, culture and fine wine. Hope you have a great reunion.

Checking in from Whitefish, MT.  I intend to be in Aberdeen in August for our 50th Reunion. Mary Ann Zabiaka is an Aberdeen contact or Lenore Lundgren. Great idea. Have a good reunion.

Hello to all of you. As you can tell I was a few years ahead of you. My dad owned the New Aberdeen Garage and I had several sisters younger than myself who possibly are the same age as your class. Carolyn Schaffer Finney and Audrey Schaffer Voss. It is nice to hear from a former alma mater classmate.  I hope to hear from you again.

It (the site,) is fabulous!!!! It will be so fun to be able to keep tabs on our high school friends.  I haven't had time to go thru all the website but hope to soon.  We are leaving Wednesday for Yakima as our granddaughter plays for Meridian and hopefully they will be State Champs for their division.  I see where Elma will be there too.

Hi Everyone!  Well, all I can say that if ever a graduating class deserved its own web site it has to be the AHS Class of 51.  I hope that I can make the luncheon on June 8 (or whenever).  My best wishes to everyone.

Just one suggestion. If the hosting software allows it, keep the "Table of contents" in memory so it is not reloaded each time the return icon is hit.  Regardless, the site is great.  You can use my email address.  It would be great to hear from some of the classmates we only see every 5 years.  See you in June.

From the Class of '44 to the Class of '51, very impressive. This is quite an advancement with the accepted means of communication which was smoke signals when I was in high school. (Luckies, Camels, Pall Malls).
