Laverne Wallace and Jess Lanford

LAVERNE (WALLACE) AND JESS LANFORD, Mangum. After 43 years of banking. Laverne retired from being a vice-president of the First National Bank. Jess is a farmer, rancher and raises horses. We have one daughter, Gayle, class of '69, and a son-in-law, Sonny, '68. Gayle is a teacher at Trophy Club ,Texas, and Sonny is a computer director in Dallas, Texas. We have three grandchildren: Justin Snipes and wife, Kristi, of Ponca City, Bethaney, who is graduating from Northwest High School in Justin, TX and Rebecca, a sophomore at Northwestern High School.

Laverne enjoys water aerobics, cooking, visiting and entertaining friends. Jess enjoys racing horses, playing dominoes and going to horse races.
