EVERETTE ALAN SMITH, Laguna Vista, TX. I am a retired army officer, retiring as a Lt. Colonel. My wife, Elva Rose (Horton), is a retired junior high school teacher. We have four children: Rhett, Brian, Cynthia and Dusty. We also have two grandchildren, Erin and Grace.

After army retirement, I farmed in the Altus Mangum area for 23 years. While in service, I served in Korea and Japan, with family, and Brian was born there; Libya, with family, Dusty was born there; Columbia with family; Vietnam, Iran with family and Vietnam.

Presently, we are doing some traveling, visiting family and friends, fishing some, but not decimating the fish population. I plan to be there for the reunion.
