    from Cindy Durbin   e-mail durbin1@cecomet.net

I'd love to have a chance to get in touch with some of the friends I made while in Washington
in the summers, primarily members of the Class of 1960 at East Washington High School.
I've had some nice notes from people recognizing the names and I appreciate that immensely.

Those I can remember well are:  Jane Ann Yard, Susan B. Noble, Marlin Beatty, Sheryl Kurtz,
Cookie Lennox (I believe she moved before 1960), Edna and Janet and Carolyn Hazlett, Sigrid
Christenson, Jim Proudfit, Brooke Jones...and I'm sure I'll think of other people later! <G>

And still another plea -- if you know anything about whether the East Washington 1960 Class is
having a reunion, I'd love to know about it. Thanks,  Cindy

My friends all graduated in 1960 from East Washington and I'm wondering if any of you know of
a reunion for that class this coming summer.  I would truly enjoy knowing about it -- I've got a few
pictures that might be fun tucked away somewhere. Please let me know if there is one and who
the contact person/people might be.  Denny

Does anyone remembers the traffic island in the intersection of N. Main St and Walnut St. in Washington.  My wife and others tell me I am losing it, but I used to sell Sunday papers at that corner as a kid, and I feel sure my memory is not failing me.  The island consisted of a concrete "dummy" about 6 ft. tall and maybe 5 ft. in diameter.  It was in the center of the intersection, and as I recall the traffic signal was located on its apex.
Should anyone have a photo of this, I would like to see it posted on this site.
Thanks,     Edsel
