ACHILLES WYNN son of ELKANAH WYNN (1776-1833) and MARY MUNCY (1175-1848) was born 20 December 1798 in Lee County, Virginia, and died 1861 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married LUCY TURNER Bef. 1820 in Harlan County, Kentucky, daughter of WILLIAM E TURNER (1770-1856) and SUSANNAH BAILEY (1773-1855). She was born 10 December 1801 in Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 1861 in Harlan County, Kentucky.

WRIGHT WYNN son of ACHILLES WYNN (1798-1861) and LUCY TURNER (1801-1861) was born 1820 in Lee County, Virginia, and died 05 August 1885 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married JOANNAH MIDDLETON 1843 in Harlan County, Kentucky, daughter of WALTER MIDDLETON (1795-1863) and SARAH TURNER (1800-1870). She was born 1822 in Harlan County, Kentucky.

This Indenture made & entered into this 19th April 1842 between Acles

Wynn of the County of Harlan & State of Kentucky of the one part & Wright

Wynn of the County & State aforesaid of the other part. Witrepeth that the said Acles Wynn for and in consideration of the sum of Two hundred dollars to him in paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge that this day granted bargained and sold and delivered into the said Wright Wynn the following property to wit 53 head of hogs, 3 cows, 1 sorrel filly, 3 beds & furniture, 10 head of sheep, 250 Bushels of corn & my growing Crop, 2 blaid stacks, one pair gears, one Log chains & interest in my fathers estate. Now should the said Acles Wynn on or before the first day of April next 1843 refund to the said Wright Wynn the sum of two hundred dollars with interest there on for this date the said property will thereby be redeemed but should the said sum of not be paid by the time aforesaid there the said property to be the own property of the said Wright Wynn Given under my hand and seal this 19th day of April 1842 Acles Wynn (seal)

I John G Grump clerk of the County court for the County aforesaid do certify that this deed from Acles Wynn to Wright Wynn was this day produced to me in my office and was acknowledge by the said Acles Wynn to be his act & deed & the same together with the of going certificate is duly recorded in my office Given under my hand this 2 day of May 1842.
