He married MARY JANE KELLY 04 November 1851 in Harlan County, Kentucky, daughter of JONATHAN KELLY (1798-1861) and NANCY BAILEY (1796-1851). She was born 15 July 1834 in Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 29 January 1927 in Conway, Kentucky.
ELKANAH WYNN son of ACHILLES WYNN (1798-1861) and LUCY TURNER (1801-1861) was born 02 June 1833 in Lee County, Virginia, and died 30 January 1899 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married (1) ELIZABETH KELLY 13 May 1852 in Harlan County, Kentucky, daughter of JONATHAN KELLY (1798-1861) and NANCY BAILEY (1796-1851). She was born 06 December 1821 in Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 07 December 1896. He married (2) FANNIE JANE ROBBINS 20 October 1897 in Lee County, Virginia, daughter of THOMAS ROBBINS (1830-1892) and MARGARET SMITH (1838-?). She was born 1864, and died 04 December 1943 in Harlan County, Kentucky.
JOHN PATRICK KELLEY son of ISAAC KELLY (1791-1858) and CYNTHIA PARKER (1794-1850) was born 21 August 1828 in Clover Fork, Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 11 May 1911 in Harlan County, Kentucky. He married MARTHA CREECH 1848 in Harlan County, Kentucky, daughter of ABSOLOM CREECH (1806-1883) and ELIZABETH BLAIR. (1810-?) She was born 20 October 1832 in Harlan County, Kentucky, and died 14 November 1915 in Harlan County, Kentucky.

Article of Agreement
John P. Kelley
Article of agreement made and entered into Between Josiah
D. Wynn Elkanah Wynn and John P. Kelley all partners in a certain tract of land
lying in the waters of the Clover Fork in the county of Harlan. Beginning in
the lower corner of William P. Kelley’s plantation running straight to the top
of a big ridge running with
Puid Ridge to the head of Elkanah Wynn’s Branch: hence a
cross Fugate’s Creek to the first fork ridge with said fork ridge upto the top
of the Big Black Mountain: thence up with the to of said Mountain to the rock
camp: thence crossing said mountain running down to the line in the north side
of the Big Black Mountain Given Under our hand this 9” of August 1862
