Search For Harold Shreve Info & Miscellany
I have received a request from Harold Shreve's daughter, Monette, for information about her father. Harold married Monette's mother on Dec. 26, 1958 in Las Vegas, NV. He was a Corporal in the Marine Corps at the time, and was stationed in CA, probably Camp Pendleton. Monette was born in South Laguna Beach, CA. Apparently the mother and daughter left the area early in Monette's life, as she doesn't remember Harold. I have sent her a photo and as much info as I have been able to gather from fellow classmates. Gayle Williams and Nancy Cox have provided some info, and hopefully, as a result of this website, we will get more input. Please respond with anything you may know about Harold so I can pass it on to Monette. My Dad was a handsome guy. You wouldnt believe how much my youngest Riley looks like him. Have you ever seen the show the LOCATOR on the tv. Thats who you are is my Locator. Please be my guess and give out what you need to when anybody asks like Gayle. It would be great if she got some hits on my dad at your meeting and thank you for thinking of me. You guys have changed my life. I actually have some pieces that are making me whole and at peace. You have also made my kids happy. Yes Bob, I will take all and any information about my Dad. It would be nice to find out if he was married and if he had more children. I really hate the idea of him dying alone. I think it is so great to have found that I wasnt found under a rock and that I did have parents and they had parents and they even had parents.
