First five years after high school: US Army stationed North Carolina,New Jersey,Germany and Kansas. Married Anne and had two boys, Shane and Lance. Left service and went into the finance business.

Some highlights of my life: Having the opportunities to experience varied types of careers: i.e., management, service, sales and owning my own businesses (two)

I retired or hope to retire in Retired from General Motors 1993. Owned Operated Patches Pub. Sold pub in 1999. Currently live in Panama City Beach, FL in winter and at Herrington Lake, Kentucky in summer.

First five years after high school: US Army stationed North Carolina,New Jersey,Germany and Kansas. Married Anne and had two boys, Shane and Lance. Left service and went into the finance business.

First five years after high school: Went to work at NCR, got married in 1956, moved to Xenia, Ohio, quit NCE, went to work at Ohio Bell, had a little girl named Sheri in 1957. Didn't have any more children unti 1962, 1964 and 1968.

Some highlights of my life: My children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. I now work at Wright Patterson Air Force Base since 1985. Still married to same man (47 years now) and still live in Xenia.

My current projects:
Spend a lot of time with Grandchildren, attending ballgames and also go regularly to church.

I retired or hope to retire in Retired after 30 years of teaching for Westerville City Schools in 1996.

First five years after high school: I attended the Ohio State University, got a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and went on to Graduate School at Ohio State -- eventually got my MA in Education.

Some highlights of my life: Selected as the Outstanding Residence Hall Senior at Ohio State in 1965. Taught Social Studies for Westerville City Schools for 30 years. Coached Westerville South to a 2nd. Place finish in Golf in 1985. Selected as Key Club Man of the Decade for Central Ohio in the 1970's. Have traveled to over 30 countries(including accompaning students to Peru, Germany, and the former Soviet Union. I have also taken student groups to Key Club Conventions throughout the United States. i was golf coach and one of the Ski Club advisors for 20 years, National Honor Society Advisor for 9 years and Social Studies Department Chair for 13 years. I continue to work on my family genealogy -- produced a 200+ page book for my family in 1999. Becoming an historical interpreter for the Ohio Statehouse 1997-present.

Places I have lived:
Dayton, West Carrollton School District, Columbus, and Westerville, Ohio.

My current projects:
Genealogical reseach,home and garden improvements, volunteering at the Palace Theater and the Ohio Statehouse, bowling, and continuing to grow as a person,friend and confidant.

More comments:
It was a pleasure reading about the careers, families, and accoplishments of fellow graduates. I too would hope to see additional names appear as the months and years go by. It has always been fun to attend the various reunions of the Class of 1961.

I retired or hope to retire in Guess you could say 1991 , unwillingly.

First five years after high school: Graduated Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing, Married John M (Lee) Lehart and moved to Santa Barbara California, took state boards for RN in Long Beach. Had two beautiful sons, Robert and Richard. Divorced in 1984, while living in Phoenix, Az. Remarried Lonnie Thacker in 1985 after a jetset courtship while Lonnie completed his master's in W. Va. and commuted to Az whenever he could.

Some highlights of my life: Highlights of life: gaining three more beautiful sons from Lonnie(Ben, Brad, and Brian). My sons are all Bro's to each other which is sweet to watch. Traveling all over Arizona for several years as a Certified Nurse Case Manager, managing all Catastrophic Worker's Comp injuries for Liberty Mutual until I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and fatigue and Muscle weakness made it impossible to continue Nursing.I now find joy at home in my rose garden and with my beautiful grandchildren.

West Carrollton Ohio, Dayton Ohio, Santa Barbara Calif, Oxnard Calif, Scottsdale Az, and Phoenix Az is my current residence.

My current projects:
Fixing up our retirement home, which is smaller , and less expensive to retire into.

Lonnie and I took a roundaboutway to realize that we are truly soulmates, and all is well now!
