The Senior Class Will is extracted from the May 24, 1957 edition of Lynx Lingo.

The 1957 graduating class of Lynn View High School being of sound mind and body, has prepared this last will and testament, and does hereby appoint the members of the Junior Class as the executors.  We request that they carry out these wishes and execute these instructions to the best of their ability and at any price.

To our steady, hard-working teachers we grant a summer's vacation.

to BUTCH ELROD, BEN McCONNELL's executive ability, but not his beauty, he will still feel the need of that he fears, and wouldn't be coaxed nor cajoled into leaving it behind even with Butch, who needs it so badly.

To JUNE MULLINS, JEAN BEAMAN's gift of gab.

To the basketball team of next year, the ability of BILL DOUGHERTY and DEAN FEATHERS.  We couldn't induce DON FLICK to surrender his.

To the laziest member of the Senior Class-to-be, DAVID FORD, we bequeath MILON TURNER's ambition.

To anybody who needs it -- PUNY MAYS' bluff.

To LOU MOORE, CAROLYN COX and the Junior Class, we relinquish all our notebooks.

To the first one who needs it, MARY BIGGS wills her falls tooth.

To DWAIN AUSTIN and RONNIE McPHERSON, RONNIE QUILLEN bequeaths his football helmet and pants.

To MR. SHEARED, GERALD KERNS gives his curly hair.

To anybody who is sad, BETTY ADAMS wills her smile.

To the Junior Class, WANDA CHILDERS relinquishes her chewing gum.

To BOB BOARDWINE, MIKE HAULSEE wills his brain for playing quarterback.

To DON HURT, BILL ARMSTRONG bequeaths all his empty bottles.

To DON CARTER, BENNY HUTSON's ability to be punctual at all times on his Washington trip.

To some lucky Junior girl, CAROL WOODWARD, BARBARA BLEDSOE and KATHRYN ANDERSON will their Washington boyfriends.

To all diamond lovers, PATSY ALLEY, BETTY BRADLEY, WANDA CHILDERS, WILMA LARKIN, MAYSEL JONES, RUTH SHIPLEY, CAROL SLEMP, GAYE STAPLETON will on just like theirs.

To SADDIE JOHNSON, KATHLEEN and FRANCES WEBB, MARY TESTERMAN, IMOGENE SALYERS and BARBARA STAPLETON will their quiet ways.

CAROL COATS, SHELBY VICARS, LINDA SENSABAUGH and SALLY DESKINS would like to will Room 511, Burlington Hotel, to four "innocent ones".  Also their visits from the House Detective.

To HAZEL HASH, WANDA DAVIS will her bright remarks in English Class.

To JANET LAVINDER and BARBARA OWENS, NANCY FLEMING wills her position as Office Assistant.

To LINDA GIBSON, WANDA GILLIAM wills her ability to do acrobats and cheerleading.

To someone who likes to work their mouths, SUE GIBSON, PEGGY MARSHALL, LINDA WHITE SHELLEY CARTER, BARBARA LITTLE and SANDRA HENDRICKS will their seats in choir.

To anyone who wants them, PATSY CAMPER, WILMA ROBERTS, BETTY BYRD and MARIE CHRISTIAN, relinquish their seats in English.

To WILMA ODOM and CHARLOTTE MAYS, RUBY MOORE and SHELLEY CARTER will their gym showers.

To someone in love with Mr. Harrison, SHIRLEY DAVIS and JUSTINE CHEEK bequeath their lunch room in the Commercial Office.

To EDDIE BLEDSOE, DONNIE GOTT and GERALD WARD relinquish their position as football mangers.

To SHERRELL NOEL and CHARLES TINCHER, SHIRLEY GARRETT and JOYCE LAWSON, will their 99's in History.

To the Junior Class, BETTY DARNELL, BARBARA DAVIS and LEVITA TATE will their Washington fun.

"QUIZ" BRALLEY wills his nickname to NORMAN TESTERMAN.

JAYNELLE MORRIS wills her position as Editor to CHARLENE DUNN.

To the meanest boys in the Junior Class, JERRY ROGERS, BENNY HUDSON, JIM DEAN, MILON TURNER and JERRY BRALLEY will what is left of Room 425 at Burlington Hotel.

To the Junior Class, MAYSEL JONES, ROSETTA CLICK, SHERRY CULPEPPER, ANNA RUTH EVANS, JANICE McGUIRE, NANNABELLE AGEE and NITA MOORE relinquish Mr. Cross.

To our beloved, we WINNIE GILLESPIE, SANDRA HILLMAN, BERTIE GIBBONS and DELORES COOCH, give and bequeath all the amazing knowledge and startling information that we have furnished from time to time in our various examination papers.

To DON PAFFORD, JAMES CLEEK wills his ancestors, he feel he will no longer need them.

To VIOLET JENNINGS, CLARA GRILLS, HASH TWINS, NINA WRIGHT, VIVIAN LINKOUS will their big mouths.

To RANDALL LEONARD, BETTY MARCUM and WAYNE GRILLS will their ability to debate.

To DARLENE BUCHANAN, BOB KERNS wills his "unused History book".

To CLARENCE NELMS, KENNY STALLARD gives his good looks.

To LARRY SPENCER, DON LOVIN bequeaths his sneaky looks.

To some deserving Junior, BYE BYE McPHERSON wills his position as Class President.

To MARY RIDDLE, DONNA wills her laugh.

To anyone silly enough to take them, NILE SHOEMAKER wills his troubles.

To RONALD ELLIS, BENNY REED will his love and knowledge of farm life.

To MR. CROSS, JOHNNY BATES bequeaths his Elvis Presley sideburns and ducktail.

To anyone who can type on them, DON BATES and BOB BACON will their typewriters.

To a wind bag, FREDDIE ADDINGTON relinquishes his bass horn.

To MARY BATES, BOB ARNOLD gives his heart.

To CHARLES TINCHER, J. B. BISE wills his mischievous ways.

To LINDA LIGHT, PAT BELCHER wills her ability to the "Hula".

To "PAT", MARGARET CARPENTER wills her 70's in History.

To MR. CROSS, CARROLL CROSS bequeaths the word "true".

I, PETE CASTLE, being of sound mind, (I think) and body (I hope) will my fur-lined j.s. to DON COMPTON.

We trust that the Class of '58 will appreciate all these that they may be their most precious possessions, as it has been ours, and one ones we are most loath to had over to them.
And  we do hereby constitute and appoint the said Principal sole executor of this our last will and testament.
In Witness whereof, we the Class of '57, the testators, have to this our will, written on one sheet of parchment, set our hands and seal this sixteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and fifty seven.
